Here at The Professors’ Inn we have newly appointed and renovated rooms. They are very spacious with high-ceilings. Each room comes with a complimentary bottle of wine from Cascata Winery (which just happens be downstairs). We feature comfortable queen sized beds with Egyptian sheets and down comforters. Free Wi-Fi is available for those needing to stay in contact with the outside world.

 

We are nestled in the heart of the Finger Lakes region on the west side of Seneca Lake. Located just 2 miles north of Watkins, you are close to many fun and exciting things. Within a 10 minute drive you have: many gorges (some world famous!), waterfalls, Seneca Lake, hiking, shopping, cruises (both sailing and motorized), the famous Watkins Glen International Raceway, great restaurants, micro-breweries, and of course WINE COUNTRY!!

 

Each room comes with a spa-like amenities kit made by ESA-Environmentally Sensitive Amenities. ESA toiletries are made using minimal preservatives, post consumer non-bleached board, soy based ink, and crafted vegetable based soaps. Your kit includes: Conditioning Shampoo, Conditioner, Hand and Body Lotion, an Oatmeal Bar, Chamomile Soap, a Sewing Kit, and Make-up Remover Wipes. We are pet friendly.

 

Within 30 minutes you can get to Ithaca (home of Cornell), Corning (home to the Glass Museum), Elmira (think Mark Twain, Tommy Hilfiger, Ernie Davis), nearby Big Flats (Airplane museums, soaring, airport), Geneva, more gorges and waterfalls… the list goes on and on.
